Journey to ONE-derland!

Day 5

Weight: 231.5. "Holy shit." I stepped on the scale again just to be sure. Yup, I lost 4.5 pounds since yesterday. I stepped on the scale a third time. I can't believe it. And I'm so relieved because yesterday was HARD. I was hungry but I've done other diets and been hungrier. My husband grilled my chicken for the rest of the week and did hot dogs for the kids.... and had beer. I think that is what bothered me. I wanted to have a drink too and eat the extra fixings he'd made to go with his dinner (rice, grean beans, hot dogs, ketchup). But I stuck with my sirloin burger and 1/2 tomato. My schedule for the day was weird so I ended up having my apple after the girls went to bed and that was nice. I might try to do that again. I also went to bed early so I wouldn't stay up and eat. Yay for me! I made it through another day. If I do the 40 days, and I average 1lb a day, I might make it to ONE-derland (199)!

CONGRATS to you Beth! I'm so happy for you! I can NOT even imagine what it would be like the weigh one day to find that I lost over 4 pounds.....WOW! My mail hasn't run yet this morning, usually runs about 10:30. Not sure if the drops will show up in my mailbox along with my normal mail, or if it's shipped UPS or FedEx??? I do know they were shipped out on Monday 8/22/11. I'm sure it'll be soon. I won't be starting my drops until Tuesday after Labor day. I have a cousin who will be doing her 2nd round of HCG injections with a doctor here in our town, so I'm waiting for her HCG to come in the mail so we can do this together as HGC support buddies. Plus we can compare drops vs. injections just for the knowledge of knowing first hand if one or the other is any different/better, it'll be interseting to see anyway. She (Jeana)did her 1st ever HCG injection round back in February of this year (40 day) and she lost 41 pounds, and while on the maintenance part she lost another 20 pounds (AWESOME.....Rght?) Anyway... Just wanted to share that bit of info with you. I'm looking forward to this diet, especially having a partener along side me. While we're waiting for her injections to come in, I'm going to be getting my meals planned out, and would like to make up a spread sheet some how for documenting my lost inches, pounds, food ate for lunch, supper, and things such as that.I will let you know when our journey of the HCG diet starts. Until then I will countinue to enjoy following your blogs and see how you are doing! Again CONGRATS to your weight loss thus far!

Hey Beth....
I made myself a weight loss tracker at the same website you made your, but.... I have no idea how to get it here on my blog page, I've been trying for way too long and though it was time to ask for help! do you think you could help me? Please and Thank-You!

Sure! From your "Dashboard", under your "manage blog" section, click on "design". Then you'll choose the little square you'd like to put it in by clicking "add a gadget". A pop-up window will show a list...scroll down to click on "HTML/JavaScript". Copy/paste your ticker's HTML code in the "content" box, then save. And save again on the "design" page. Hope this helps!

YAY!!!!! It did help.....Thanks a million! Now... When I'm ready to update it, do I need to go through those same steps that I just did, for the updates to show up and be current? Sorry to be a pain this is all new to me!

It's okay! I think if you just update at the ticker's site, it should automatically update the blog since it's pulling from that HTML code. If you click on the ticker from your blog, it should take you straight to your ticker and you can enter your pin, update, etc.
