Weight: 223.5. Down 1/2 a pound. Guess my lemon experiment was a bust.
So I've been doing some reading - I'm a little obsessed with the HCG diet and try to find out as much as I can. I was under the impression that for a 40 day cycle, you take the drops until day 38 and then days 39 and 40 are 500 cals with no drops. A friend of mine says that she thought we took the drops until day 40 and then days 41-43 are 500 cals with no drops. I'm going to do more research today to try to figure it out...
Another thing I am torn about is that I was planning to do another round starting on Halloween. That would be a little over 4 weeks after round 1 is over. According to Facebook people (on the hcg page) and my little HCG book, this is correct. However, if I want to go by the original doctor's protocol ("Pounds and Inches"), I should wait 6 weeks (and then 8 weeks between rounds 2 and 3). I'm not sure what to do. I want to get the best results possible. My argument for only waiting 4 weeks is that the doc's protocol is specifically tailored for injections. That might be my loophole. I was REALLY looking forward to my Halloween Boo Binge (that's what I'm calling it - doesn't it sound fun?). But what if I only do 4 weeks and it affect my results for round 2? Bugger.

CONGRATS on the 1/2 pound loss, anything is better then NOTHING at all...Right? Please let me know what you find out about the drops taken for 38 days v/s taken for 40 days. I know I read it somewhere....I've been doing so much reading here and there and everywhere about the HCG Diet. I'm thinking I read take the drops for 40 days and continue with the 500 calorie diet with NO drops on days 41, 42, & 43 in the Dr. Simeons Pounds and Inches, but.... It could have been else where, I just can't remember. But... I do know that's what I did read. I was pretty sure we are suppose to take 6 weeks off for maintenance and then could do round 2 starting with 2 loading days, but... perhaps that was if one did injections it was 6 weeks???? Heck, this can be verry complicated that's for sure! Geez! Maybe I'll just call the help line @ hcg.cm and just ask them! Hey yeah, that's what I'll do..... I'll be back as soon as I get answers! Pretty smart idea....Huh? (lol)

Why is it, I'm NOT able to comment on my own blog" I can post a new blog each day, but I tried to reply to your question on my Yesterday's blog, and it wouldn't allow me to do so. I was so mad, not to mention I wrked and worked on trying to figure it out for over 2 hours with NO LUCK! Any ideas on whatI need to do? It's so aggravating, I do know that! GRRRR!
Hey..... Never mind! I got it....I tried to post on my own blog, and it LET me do it! YAY! I swear last night I stayed up way past my 10:00 bedtime trying my best to figure it out, and never could. Whatever was wrong last night is fixed this morning....YAY!
OK... So I called and actually didn't even have to wait on hold at all, I guess I was the first call of the day! (lol) Here is what the lady told me, Day 37 you take your drops all 3 times on that day, the on days 38,39,& 40 you DO NOT take drops.She actually said we shouldn't even have drops to be taking, the bottle should be empty she said! So.... that is the answer I got from hcg.com which is where I got my drops from. She did say that if your looking on the internet, they have different days,such as like I thought last day for drops was day 40 and then 41, 42, & 43 was no drops but still remain on the VLC diet. But, according to where you get/got your drops you need to follow the protocal that goes with your drops. So, that answers that question!
Thank you so much!!! I'm so glad we have that cleared up. It's crazy how many versions there are out there. I'm updating my spreadsheet so that I stop drops on day 38. OH, and I can't comment on other people's blogs from this computer. I can only comment on my own so I don't know what is up with that.
